Football Club of Canacona Head Coach - Nazu
Nazu who has two children of his own actively involved in the club has been playing and coaching football in Canacona for over twenty years. Nazu spent almost two years volunteering daily with the club in coaching and developing our programs. Thanks to the donations we now receive Nazu is now paid full time by the club. He has a great relationship with all the players and works tirelessly to involve everyone regardless of background or ability and it is his drive and enthusiasm that continues to carry our project further.
Ramesh
Ramesh has been training with us for three years starting with our under tens team. Ramesh who is from bordering Karnataka has always spoken very good english and would often be used as the team interpreter by English coach Dan when training with the under tens. Ramesh's football has progressed by leaps and bounds over the last three years, but unfortunately he has not yet been able to showcase these skills in league games. He has no birth certificate and therefore is unable to register for the GFA leagues, not to be perturbed Ramesh still travels to all games to cheer on his friends.
