The Football Club of Canacona established in 2005 is a project based in the southern most taluka of Goa, India. We regognise the importance of sport in nurturing the lives of young people and we use football as a tool to empower the young people of Canacona, many of whom are from background of extreme poverty.

Previously in the Canacona Taluka there were very few opportunities for young people to participate in football.
